Hello there!! I'm a PhD student in music composition. I'm also a professionally trained drummer/percussionist and hammered dulcimerist. I've played drums for around 30 musical theater productions in the past. My favorite was Spring Awakening at the University of Maryland School of Music. I love experimental music. New complexity is somewhat my thing (Ferneyhough and Lachenmann are a couple of my favorites). My music tastes are quite vast though. I like pop, metal, punk, some country, film scores, surf rock, etc.
